Infinite CBD Oil: A Complete Beginner’s Guide
Infinite CBD Oil: A Complete Beginner’s Guide

In the last few years, CBD has seen a massive rise in popularity. Today, a wide range of CBD products are available online and in drug stores. Many people report excellent experiences with the use of CBD in several different forms. Still, it’s always important to know the company that you’re choosing has adequately tested and proven their products to be as they market them, so you can make an informed, smart purchase with a leading CBD brand. If you’re curious about CBD oil and the products created with its use, you should first understand what CBD is, how it works, and what its potential benefits are.

A Brief History of Cannabis

The use of cannabis dates back almost ten thousand years. It was one of the very first crops grown when farming began.  The first documented medicinal use of the plant is from ancient China. There is evidence that ancient civilizations in Egypt, India, and other regions used hemp to make rope, clothing, and other daily necessities.

Completely non-psychoactive hemp (it cannot get you ‘high’), was primarily used to make rope and textiles and slowly spread through ancient eastern and European cultures and was mixed into specialty drinks, food, and even wine and distributed to relieve pain among other medicinal purposes. The colonists from France and Spain, who first settled the new world, grew cannabis as their first crops in America. In the 1800s, American doctors prescribed Cannabis readily to patients, and it was available in every general store across the land. Cannabis was widely used until the mid-19th century when attitudes began to change.

The British were the first to outlaw cannabis, believing that it was an intricate part of what made people go crazy. Progressives in America followed suit, and with a general distaste for all ‘drugs,’ cannabis was proclaimed and soon became lawfully illegal in America.

The Controlled Substance Act of 1970 classified cannabis as a Schedule 1 drug.  This law created severe obstacles for scientists who wanted to research the plant’s possible benefits for future medicinal use. Since the 1970s, laws have been gradually relaxing throughout the United States.

The legality of cannabis varies from state to state, but the 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp across the country. As long as its production is consistent with the bill’s restrictions, hemp-derived CBD oil is federally legal. A few states still ban all types of CBD, so you should research your state’s laws before making a purchase.

That is quite a sordid history for a little plant that began as a medicinal aid in every culture around the world.

CBD Oil Explained

CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of many compounds found in the Cannabis sativa plant. CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system, which is made up of receptors all across the body. When CBD binds to these receptors, it can cause a variety of effects.

More research, which is currently taking place through a clinical trial involving many cannabis industry-leading companies, including Infinite CBD, is needed into the specific benefits of CBD. Still, many people report some incredible findings when having used it consistently over a period of time. The experience can be highly individualized, and the effects may vary depending on the potency of the product.

You make CBD oil by extracting the CBD compound from the cannabis plant. There are a few different extraction methods, but all result in a highly-concentrated amount of CBD. In some cases, adding a carrier oil, such as olive, coconut, or grapeseed oil, will dilute the CBD.

The most popular way to absorb CBD oil is with the sublingual method. The sublingual method is simple and easy and creates fast retention into your bloodstream. Some people prefer to take CBD oil capsules or alongside any meal of the day.

You can also use a topical CBD cream if you’re trying to treat a specific area of your body. Another option is vaping, which also provides fast effects

Unlike other cannabis products, CBD oil is not psychoactive and does not make you feel ‘high.’ A different compound, THC, is responsible for the psychoactive effects people associate with cannabis. However, not all cannabis contains THC. The two main strains of cannabis are hemp and marijuana. Marijuana contains THC, but hemp plants have such a small amount of the compound that hemp-derived products are not psychoactive. Most CBD oils are made with hemp, so you don’t have to worry about feeling ‘high’ when you use them.

The Purity of Infinite CBD

Infinite CBD’s isolate is one of the purest in the industry. Tested by a third-party before being disseminated into the Infinite CBD products, this isolate is the purest of the pure, and Infinite CBD shows the science to back up those claims on every single product page of their website. Recently, Infinite CBD put together their own in-house testing equipment and can do even more testing than before. The third-party testing will obviously continue alongside the new in-house testing.

Types of CBD Oil

The three most common types of CBD are full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and isolate. Each one has different properties and benefits.

Full-spectrum products contain other compounds from the cannabis plant in addition to CBD. Many people find that the presence of these different compounds enhances the effects of CBD oil. However, full-spectrum products contain trace amounts of THC, so they’re not legal in every state.

Broad-spectrum CBD also has extra cannabis compounds, but it doesn’t contain any THC. These products are a good option if you live in a state where THC is illegal, or you’re worried about THC showing up on a drug test.

Isolate contains no other plant compounds, so it’s the purest form of CBD. It usually comes in a powder or crystal form. Some people prefer CBD isolate because it’s easy to measure the desired amount and mix with other products.

In July, Infinite CBD launched a line of broad-spectrum CBD products. As stated on the Infinite CBD website,

“Broad Spectrum CBD is CBD oil that contains all compounds found within the hemp plant except THC. It is perfect for anyone who wants to have a full plant experience without the “high.” Not only does Broad Spectrum contain a plethora of non-psychoactive cannabinoids to help aid daily obstacles, but the cannabinoids also work together to create the Entourage Effect – even without the need of added terpenes!  In Broad Spectrum, customers will be experiencing a harmony of sorts between each of the cannabinoids present. Some report a very “balanced” experience, while others say it helped them reach their personal goal faster!”

Some People Say These Might Be Benefits of Infinite CBD

Because of the strict regulations on cannabis, there is not enough research to confirm CBD’s potential. User reports look promising, though, and some studies suggest that CBD could be much more. Here are just a few of the reasons you might find someone purchasing Infinite CBD products::

Infinite CBD Products Receives the Finest Testing Colorado Has to Offer

Infinite CBD works with the leading /cannabis testing lab in the state of Colorado, Gobi labs. It is one of the most highly awarded labs in Colorado and was the first laboratory to be certified for microbial testing and residual solvent analysis. Infinite CBD chose to use Gobi Labs for all third-party testing of their products because of their willingness to work directly with the Infinite CBD chemists. Their accuracy in testing Nano CBD was so much higher than any other third-party laboratory that the founders met with initially. Most labs were unable to accurately and consistently verify and test Nano CBD, providing wildly different results on the same product. Gobi Laboratories was the most consistent and the most accurate. Therefore, to provide our clients with the most accurate measurements and levels of purity, they were the obvious choice to take on all of Infinite CBD’s third-party testing.

Although we are still in the early stages of understanding CBD’s potential, countless people have reported an improvement in all activity after taking CBD oil. If you shop with a trustworthy, high-quality CBD company like Infinite CBD, you may have the same experience.
