According to Chris Hill of TMFWizard, there are a number of stocks that are much better than marijuana. One of the biggest winners could be Aurora Cannabis. GW Pharmaceuticals is also one to keep your eye on. This medical marijuana company is publicly traded. This means investors better be on board by late June if they potentially want to make a wad of money. Another interesting note to GW Pharma is the company is awaiting FDA approval for a child epilepsy medicine called Epidiolex.
While unanimous approval is rare on some drugs, Epidiolex will likely receive approval due to the proof of how it benefits. So, as it turns out, marijuana is not the only dog in the show. There are many stocks that rely heavily on research and development that could really explode.
Therapeutic Company Stocks
Another company, Zoegenics, is showing a great deal of promise as well. This is currently producing a line of therapeutic drugs. Both medical marijuana and therapeutic drugs are helping a lot of people dealing with pain issues. Recently, several former NFL players admitted that medical marijuana therapy is far better in helping with pain management than the usual shots, pills. With that in mind, it’s no wonder that this company and like ones will take off very quickly.
Additionally, people should understand, the drugs these companies offer will also vastly reduce the need for opioids. It is estimated that about 115 Americans die every day from opioid overdose.
